Description

The Alex in the heart of Zermatt is a mountain hut on the outside and a stylish boutique hotel on the inside. It features a superb spa, sports and fitness area and offers free Wi-Fi.

Behind the classic chalet building there is an attractive interior of traditional furniture, brocade curtains, velvet pillows, exquisite carving and precious paintings of the Matterhorn.

Spa facilities include an indoor pool, 3 massage rooms, separate women’s and men’s saunas, a Finnish sauna, a tepidarium, a sanarium, a massage chair and a tropical shower. A selection of massage and beauty treatments is also available.

The fitness room features state-of-the-art equipment, including rowing machines and running machines. There are also a tennis court, a dedicated yoga room with reformer Pilates, and a grotto swimming pool with a jacuzzi.

Hotel Alex also features a large sun terrace with garden lounge and serves a wide range of grill specialties in its excellent restaurant. There is also an elegant smokers' and whiskey lounge and the Montana Lounge, inviting you to read or have a nice chat.
