There is a bar and restaurant on site serving traditional pub food and a sun terrace and garden for al fresco dining.
The charming village was voted 7th ‘most desirable in the country’ by Country Life Magazine. Guests can try fly-fishing on the River Coln, which is a 5-minute walk away, while Cirencester is a 10-minute drive away. The village of Bibury is just 5 minutes by car.

Due to the nature of our lovely building we are unable to prevent the possibility of sound travelling between rooms. We like to think that the odd creaky floorboard or quirky plumbing noise is part of the charm of staying in a historic building, but we ask you to bear in mind that silence is not guaranteed in our bedrooms.

Please note that the majority of our rooms are not designated as dog-friendly. Guests wishing to stay with a dog must contact our reservations team in advance, prior to making a booking, to confirm the availability of a designated dog-friendly room. Any approved dog stay will be subject to an additional charge of £30.00 per dog, per stay.
In the absence of such prior confirmation, we reserve the right to refuse access to the room upon arrival with a pet. The property shall not be liable for any costs, expenses, losses, or inconvenience incurred as a result of non-compliance with this requirement, including but not limited to the cost of alternative accommodation.
In the event of a lost or unreturned room key at check-out, a charge of £40.00 will be applied.
