It’s an exciting time with so many new boutique hotels Paris and design hotels opening, but that doesn’t mean we should forget our old favourites. Some of our other recommendations include
The Keppler with its bold black and white interior design by Pierre Yves Rochon just steps from the Champs Elysées. – ask for a suite with a view of the Eiffel tower from its terrace. We also like Le Burgundy hotel with its interior sculpture and many other original artworks, elegant rooms and light-flooded winter garden and bar featuring the stunning Fleurs du Mal fresco by Marco de Re. Le Burgundy is particularly welcoming to children and therefore ideal for those looking for a family-friendly boutique hotel Paris.
In the Marais, we like Hotel Jules and Jim with its 23 stylish and comfortable rooms designed from simple materials including glass, sawn timber, rough concrete and stone. To reach reception, guests pass through a photo gallery which is also open to the public Or if you’d prefer a left bank design hotel Paris, try Hotel Recamier in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés with a different colour theme on every floor and the 24 rooms designed by Jean Louis Deniot.
